The 12th Malmö Intenational Exhibition of Photografic Art

Just wanted to brag a little before going to bed… 🙂

I had this photo accepted at the “The 12th Malmö Intenational Exhibition of Photografic Art“.
Almost 600 photographers had submitted over 4500 photos.

Copenhagen sand sculptures

Last week-end I was in Copenhagen, and visited the Copenhagen Sand Sculpture Festival. I used to play in the sand when I was a kid, these artists have taken the sand sculpturing to the extreme. 3000 tons of sand is used, and the tallest sculptures is 10 meters high! So they are a lot larger than they seem in the photos. The sand used contains some clay, so that it wild hold longer, typically 2-3 months of a typical Danish summer, which also includes rain.

Here is an overview of the sculptures, with some people included. There was also a do-it-yourself area, but I passed on that :-).
